lyrics
go away
never come back
so predictable
that's just where i'm at
i've been chasing years
they finally chased me back
now i'm upside down
old trick new sleeve
please, sweet darlin
'leave me where i'm at
please, sweet darlin'
leave me where i'm at
behind closed doors
the city drank me infall on the floor
that's when the doubt crept ini can't live forever
or maybe i can
i dreamed of stormy weather
that's when the sun shined in
please, sweet darlin'
leave me where i'm at
please, sweet darlin'
leave me where i'm at
sometimes i love the rain
cover me in sunshine
it's all the same
and if i make it home again
let me be the girl that let's you in
what if we talk about it
what if we just walk away
have you ever thought about it
in your dreams do we run away
or do we behave
play nice
just go on with our lives
do we behave
play nice
just go on with our lives
sometimes i love the rain
cover me in sunshine
it's all the same
and if i make it home again
let me be the girl who let's you in
sometimes i love the rain
cover me with sunshine it's all the same
and if i make it home again
let me be the girl who lets you in

Fuckin’ St. Lou and a (new) crew flippin’ and flappin out a new fuckin band, making me rock hard. Besides me terrible attempt at comedic reality, it’s better for me to say that Louis D.F.B. truly is a beautiful soul and artist too. You saved me man. I don’t known the rest of the band, but it’s a phenomenal record that has me bobbing my head(s) around strangers on airplanes coast 2 coast. I am so thankful to God for summer rental. It’s the best Christian record of 2023. Thanks for ever. gabrielderose
Welp, didn't see this one coming: seven new tracks from the late '90s ska-punks-turned-glam-rockers. Solid Gold sounds like a photo album of Squad's best moments – namely, when the wheels were about to come off a freewheeling anthem, but were miraculously held together by duct tape and gang vocals. https://www.vikingschoice.org/archive/mexican-psych-ragged-rock-boom-bap-soul/ Lars Gotrich
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Hayes Noble's version of indie rock blends the blown-out textures of shoegaze and the energy of punk with catchy songwriting. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 21, 2023
