lyrics
i don't
i don't need a hey i'm sorry
not interested in what coulda been
love feels like an after party
life's a club i can't get out of
inside i feel twice my forty
outside i'm still picking up the tab
good kids always ask permission
bad kids only wish that they had
burn your ideas down
tell everyone how you feel
but burn your ideas down
tell everyone how you feel
i could use up all my goodwill
burn another bogus bridge
try to make some sweet connections
i'm sure i could live with it
yes i am the only one dancing
only direction going backwards
i may be a little bit lonely
hell who ain't a little bit lonely
but burn your ideas down
tell everyone how you feel
but burn your ideas down
tell everyone how you feel
i don't need a hey where you going
i don't know you should be me
i don't owe you nothin'i don't owe me anything
inside i feel
inside i feel
outside i feel
outside i feel
burn your ideas down
tell everyone how you feel
but burn your ideas
tell everyone how you feel

Fuckin’ St. Lou and a (new) crew flippin’ and flappin out a new fuckin band, making me rock hard. Besides me terrible attempt at comedic reality, it’s better for me to say that Louis D.F.B. truly is a beautiful soul and artist too. You saved me man. I don’t known the rest of the band, but it’s a phenomenal record that has me bobbing my head(s) around strangers on airplanes coast 2 coast. I am so thankful to God for summer rental. It’s the best Christian record of 2023. Thanks for ever. gabrielderose

Welp, didn't see this one coming: seven new tracks from the late '90s ska-punks-turned-glam-rockers. Solid Gold sounds like a photo album of Squad's best moments – namely, when the wheels were about to come off a freewheeling anthem, but were miraculously held together by duct tape and gang vocals. https://www.vikingschoice.org/archive/mexican-psych-ragged-rock-boom-bap-soul/ Lars Gotrich
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Hayes Noble's version of indie rock blends the blown-out textures of shoegaze and the energy of punk with catchy songwriting. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 21, 2023
