lyrics
head in the sand
sole made of rubber bands
once an avalanche of thought
now just excuses for what you are not
you and i
swore that we'd never die
there's a bottle and a knife
it's only dark when you turn on the light
photographs
ancient artifacts
played me for sport
what makes us real
is it the ability to make you feel
so much time wasted on
not so innocent attraction
so much life wasted on
artificial interaction
so much faith wasted on
political affiliation
are we more a collection and data
answers without questions
bored or brilliant
it's hard to say the difference
there's so many lights to be lit
theres no beginning
but theres and end
so much time wasted on
not so innocent attraction
so much life wasted on
artificial interaction
so much space wasted on
political affiliation
are we more than a collection of data
answers without questions
so much time we wasted on
not so innocent attraction
so much life being wasted on
artificial interaction
so much faith we wasted on
political affiliation
so much hope we wasted on black plastic box

Fuckin’ St. Lou and a (new) crew flippin’ and flappin out a new fuckin band, making me rock hard. Besides me terrible attempt at comedic reality, it’s better for me to say that Louis D.F.B. truly is a beautiful soul and artist too. You saved me man. I don’t known the rest of the band, but it’s a phenomenal record that has me bobbing my head(s) around strangers on airplanes coast 2 coast. I am so thankful to God for summer rental. It’s the best Christian record of 2023. Thanks for ever. gabrielderose

Welp, didn't see this one coming: seven new tracks from the late '90s ska-punks-turned-glam-rockers. Solid Gold sounds like a photo album of Squad's best moments – namely, when the wheels were about to come off a freewheeling anthem, but were miraculously held together by duct tape and gang vocals. https://www.vikingschoice.org/archive/mexican-psych-ragged-rock-boom-bap-soul/ Lars Gotrich
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Hayes Noble's version of indie rock blends the blown-out textures of shoegaze and the energy of punk with catchy songwriting. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 21, 2023
